I remain hopelessly behind with journal entries. Wow, I'm really bad at this. I just don't have time, that's what it comes down to. Once I could stay up as late as necessary, no matter how tired I was. Now, if I'm that tired, I sleep. I can't help it, my body refuses to go any longer. I sit down, and it turns off.
Back when I was in the States for my sister's wedding, I was extremely jet lagged and felt exhausted all the time. My body ached, constantly, but I couldn't allow myself to sleep. I drank buckets of coffee and tried to be active so that I wouldn't nod off, but I never realized that being tired could actually hurt.
But it gives you a lot of sympathy for the main character in this excellent webcomic.
Right now Japan is giving me an eloquent explanation for why all the storm drains in this country are at least a foot deep. I am properly appreciative; it's nice not feeling guilty about staying inside all day. And I like the sound of the rain through my open balcony door.
Writage!
May 11: ( Saiunkoku: Rise and Shine )
May 12: ( Demon RPG: Willhelmina's Backstory )
May 13: ( Emrys and Nghia: Tor Found )
Maybe by the end of today I can be caught up . . . but that's enough for now, anyway.
