In Japan. Running on battery power, and thus have extremely limited time . . . but unlimited wireless access. Ah, the tearing irony of it all.
Yes, I'm here at the hotel, and perfectly well. A bit hungry, but I have loot from the convenience store. And everyone's really nice, and the hotel's in the middle of Shinjuku, and would that I had more time to wander around. And people to wander around with . . . well, everyone here is in the same boat. Tomorrow night I'll attach myself to someone and go places.
I did manage to get some sleep on the plane, so I'm not as badly off as I could be.

Glad to hear you're in Japan safely. Maybe when you have a chance you can go shopping for one of those adaptor things that convert (or help convert) your laptop power plug into something that'll fit into the wall plugs there...
Hope everything goes ok! I'll just stay here in boring ol' CA while everyone else goes romping around the world.^_~
