Ear-Tweak.com is a very useful site for Inuyasha news, and given the current height of my Sesshoumaru obsession (Majo's fault), not to mention my growing interest in Inu-papa (again, Majo's fault), I'm stopping by there about once a day. This week was particularly nice, because a certain somebody showed up in the scanlations for this week. Oh, and Sango does a couple of really nice last-minute saves . . . I think she's very under-appreciated by the cast, yes I do. I mean, first she gets Kagome out of the way in the nick of time, and then she and Hiraikotsu take one for Miroku . . . and of course Sesshoumaru saves Inuyasha's bad-part-of-the-lunar-cycle ass, not that he'll get any thanks for it. Ungrateful hanyou brat doesn't give his big brother any respect.

What had me giggling, though, was the following conversation snippet posted by the author before the scanlations:

GORYOUMARU: Hahaa! So, who placed bets that I would be.... THIS!
INUYASHA: Dammit! I put my money on you actually being Hojou.
KAGURA: I am going to sit here and play the audience's thoughts this time. So, yeah... I'm like you guys and I'm totally and utterly confused.
GORYOUMARU: Ha, and now I will rough you all up. *beats them up a bit*
SESSHOUMARU: ...until I make my fahionably late appearance.
KAGURA: *gasp!* Sesshoumaru!!! Oh, be still my beating heart!!!
GORYOUMARU: Kagura, you DO realize the irony of that statement.
KAGURA: ....don't mock me!

Mavir, 'fire bug,' is cute but the gryphon would not appreciate being refered to as a bug. Maybe for another character . . . Orley, 'my light,' would have won the moment I heard the meaning because the deeply disparaged romantic in me melted in the dismal cell to which it has been banished (banished somewhat ineffectually, but at least I made the effort) . . . save for the fact that a legion of disgusting fangirls refers to Orlando Bloom that way.




Just living in this world from day to day is enough to damn my soul forever.
